One of the first songs to be recorded for karmaland, the song represents a bit of a departure from the sound honed on detox. The slow, funky groove with deep, wiggling bass and subtle synths was a bit of an adrenaline break for caffeine sunday.
"There is actually a version, that's lost now, I think, because of the disc crashes, that is a much faster, Pet Shop Boys style song," says Christopher.
"I spent weeks tweaking and rearranging, and I was getting really frustrated because it just wasn't hitting the spot. Then I went for a walk down Whyte Ave. and the idea came to me to slow the whole thing down, try a more bump and grind approach. I finished the song three days later."
